Just saw this guy on the store page as I was browsing. It seems a lot like Dwarf Fortress if not exactly the same but with some indie graphics, is there anything in the game that sets it apart mechanics wise? Because it seemed like it was 30 dollars for a dumbed down version of an already pre existing game that is 100x more in depth that costs nothing? I don't mean to be harsh about this game, but it really does seem like this might be the case, unless I'm objectivley wrong, which would be nice. I might...

My hairy bastards have stopped doing stuff. My miners will still mine blocks I designate, but they're not mining ores and such. My builders won't build, my smiths have stopped smithing. I've got 6 levels fully mapped out and was just working on building up my army. The only thing I changed when this happened was that I had built a barracks and then decided I could rework the placement to get an extra barracks in there. But we can't really keep on dwarving without smiths....

What is different in this game than in Gnomoria and what justifies the high price of 25€? Serious question because i <3 sandbox games. But i cant see the reason here to buy/support this game.

So everything goes fine and I set up farms and a field for my sheep and make rooms and harvest a ton of logs, but the problem is always the same. I can't make planks, even though I have three carpenters and a carpenting room with two sawplanks or how you call them in them. Is this a bug in the current version, that they just don't make planks when you want them to, by ordering the planks on the floor closeby, or am I doing this entirely wrong?...
